POINTS

Points

What they are, how you earn them, and what they buy.

Points are a way to keep track of what you have read and to open up the downloadable material without paying for it. They are not a currency, they cannot be bought, and they do not expire.

You need an account to collect them, because they have to be attached to someone. Everything on the site is readable without one.

How You Earn Them

Read an article4 pointsOnce per article. Re-reading does not earn again.
Save an article5 pointsOnce per article, and it stays in your account to come back to.
Share an article5 pointsOnce per article, whichever way you share it.
Answer the question of the day3 to 20 pointsOnly a correct answer earns. The exact value is shown on the question before you answer.

Each article can pay out once for each action, so the total from any one article is 14 points. The awards are worked out on the server when the action happens.

The Question of the Day

One question, once a day. It changes at midnight, your local time, and you get one attempt at it. The tab is on every page, so you never have to go looking for it.

A wrong answer costs nothing. You are shown the correct one and why it is correct either way, which is the part worth staying for.

What They Buy

Unlock a resource30 to 50 pointsCheat sheets and guides. Each one shows its own cost before you spend anything.
